Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Shaner's Towing was PERFECT! 2nd time I used them this month. 1st rental was flawless. Budget today failed me miserably! No truck, no alternative & I move today! NOW! Not Shaner's fault is why I gave 5 stars. Out of their control! Budget, on the other hand, NO STARS!! BLACK HOLE!!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Shaner’s Towing and, especially, Nick the driver who helped me. Late Sunday night my car broke down in a very dangerous spot on I-55 South, just after the split from 72-West outside of Springfield. I was stuck on a curve with low visibility for oncoming traffic, and it was an extremely stressful and precarious situation. Nick arrived promptly and immediately put me at ease. He was knowledgeable, professional, calm, and clearly experienced—exactly the kind of person you want showing up in a situation like that. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my car was handled safely and that I was okay, and his actions truly felt like a real-life lifesaver. Beyond being great at his job, Nick was simply a good person—kind, reassuring, and genuinely helpful when I needed it most. Shaner’s is lucky to have him, and I’m incredibly grateful for the service I received. If you ever find yourself needing a tow, I highly recommend Shaner’s. And if Nick shows up, you’re in excellent hands.

Had a blowout in my truck. Shaners was there within an hour to patch and fill my tire. The guy was super friendly and kind. I was scared of another blowout but he assured me it would be fine even if I was towing a trailer.

On Nov 15, 2025 when we needed Roadside Assistance from Enterprise Rental Car we spoke with so many people that the person I want to thank the most is the AAA Towing Driver that went to the airport to pick up our car and then bring it to us for us to be able to continue our 18 hr trip. He was the most helpful and pleasant with us, even after his issues with the airport picking it up. Even his dispatcher got involved. After he got the car he sent me pictures to make sure the size would be the right one this time. I’m sorry his name was forgotten but after starting at 8am to get this car and finally getting it at 7pm names were a blur, sorry. Thank you for all your help when others wouldn’t listen.

🚨🚨🚨 Today's Culture (2025) many people & companies are taken for granted when they exemplify kindness, empathy, and genuine caring for someone or their situation. 💫 However, that will NOT be me. I broke down traveling back home from Michigan heading home to Texas on a Busy Hwy. So using my Tripple AAA Shaner's Towing came out. 🎯 Shaner's Towing Company showed up and showed out for lil Ole me in a Crisis hopeless 😔 situation that was not expected after getting vehicle Serviced before taking a Long Road Trip. From the 1st gentleman who came immediately and got me to the office help, and Mr. Ahmad (who was phenomenal and very Encouraging with Excellent customer service skills). Shaner's Towing Company is NOT just about Business, they are about MAKING A DIFFERENCE 1 LIFE & FAMILY @ a Time 💯. They helped me accomplish the 1st half of getting back home. I didn't know any companies, Nor did I know anyone in city or nearby, 😳 I felt lonely but Not Alone with Shaner's Towing Company. I can't Express Enough how much they Blessed me….. They will always be apart of my story/journey on what being good Samaritans looks like because surly this was my Experience 💙✨️♻️ Because of them a bad,
